About Dr. Sarah Phillips

I am originally from Toronto, Canada, but have lived in the United States since I was 12. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Florida and my Master of Biomedical Science at University of South Florida. Before starting medical school, I worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant and taught anatomy and physiology, embryology, and (my favorite) gross anatomy as a USF graduate teaching assistant. I attended Saba University School of Medicine and did my rotations in Louisiana, Kansas City, and the Northeast. While awaiting residency, I worked in clinical research as a clinical research coordinator and psychometric rater facilitating various vaccine, psychiatric, and medical studies.

I believe that family medicine is the frontlines when treating mental health, so I’m passionate about bringing holistic and supportive mental healthcare to underserved populations.

In my free time, I enjoy walks with my husband and Old English bulldog, exploring new cities, and watching Formula 1 and 90’s sitcoms.

About Dr. Kayla “Birdy” Price

I was born in California and finished my undergraduate at California State University, Bakersfield, before becoming a writer and designer in the video game industry further north in Seattle, Washington. It was there that I decided I wanted to help people on a deeper level to find health and purpose.

I went to William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school and did my rotations in the New Orleans area. The South gave me the tools and knowledge I needed to come into my own professionally and personally.

Family medicine is a way I can give back to the South for always giving their best to me and for me.

In my free time, I enjoy gardening with my husband, playing video games, reading, and cooking new recipes.

About Dr. Tejasvitaa Ravilla

I am from Bangalore, India where I went to medical school at Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital. I spent a year at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, where I volunteered and delved into research.

Family medicine is where my heart is—because there’s nothing like treating folks like family. I am passionate about women’s health and enjoy caring for post-menopausal women because I believe that this stage of life presents unique challenges, and I am committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based support to optimize their health and quality of life.

I am fluent in four Indian languages, which is handy when I need to impress folks or accidentally mix up what I am saying. During my downtime, you’ll find me lost in a good book or scribbling poetry. You’ll also find me in the kitchen, cooking up a storm. It’s my way of channeling creativity and making sure my friends and family are well-fed!

About Dr. Giannina Rodriguez-Golderos

I was born and raised in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. I did my undergrad degree in Biology at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus (El Colegio!), and went to the University of Medicine and Health Sciences, St. Kitts for medical school. I did most of my clinical rotations in Georgia and since then I knew that I wanted to train and practice in the South. Moreover, I always knew I wanted to train in a place where doctors are needed.

The thing I love the most about Family Medicine is the lifelong bonds you form with your patients. I think that is one of the most rewarding aspects of what we do. You can’t find that in any other specialty.

I look forward to taking care of families at all stages and having the opportunity to make an impact early on. Some of my areas of interest include underserved medicine, obstetrics, emergency medicine and inpatient medicine.

When I’m not doing medicine, I enjoy painting, drawing, cooking, traveling, movies, and TV shows.
