About Dr. Ansh Purohit

The human body is one of nature’s most intricate and exquisite machines. And the idea that even the smallest organism the size of a molecule, or even a millimeter-sized block of an artery, could bring down such a strong and large object never ceased to fascinate me.

The proverb “curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back” is one that I take to heart and has guided most of my life decisions up to this point, from trying new foods to selecting internal medicine as my future career.

In addition to my work at the hospital, I enjoy reading novels, playing video games, and watching movies to get a glimpse into the lives of others. They are exhilarating to me because I get to explore new worlds, delve deeply into incredibly intricate events, and feel a rush when I reach the end.

About Dr. Deepak Raj

I am originally from the remote region of Sindh, Pakistan. “Harkaat mein barkat hai” (blessing in movement/striving) has been my guiding mantra, inspiring my remarkable journey from humble beginnings to pursuing education in larger cities.

Fueled by childhood curiosity about the wonders of the human body, my fascination with bones and their role laid the foundation for my calling in medicine. Understanding the human body and emotions drives my passion for healing, fostering empathy and compassion within me.

Life in Gulfport, Mississippi, offers a rich cultural exchange, enabling meaningful connections with diverse people. Beyond patient care, my interest extends to teaching and learning, cherishing the value of knowledge-sharing.

Outside of medicine, I find joy in spending quality time with family, losing myself in novels, enjoying captivating movies, cooking delightful dishes, and exploring the great outdoors.

About Dr. Manisha Bandamede

Originally from Hyderabad, India, I moved to Jersey City, NJ at the age of 14. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Physics with a focus on cloud physics from The College of New Jersey before attending Ross University School of Medicine in Barbados. Growing up in a diverse, immigrant-rich urban environment, I witnessed significant disparities in healthcare, which profoundly influenced my career path.

I am drawn to Family Medicine for its broad scope of practice and continuity of care. My passion for preventive medicine fuels my commitment to educating and empowering patients, helping them become active participants in their own health and well-being.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, and baking.
