About Dr. Kyle Strickland

I was born and raised in Orlando, FL but have lived all over from Honduras to Italy during my service in the Air Force. It was during my time spent in Honduras that I met my wife and gained a focus on helping underserved communities. After leaving the military I returned to Orlando and completed both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Central Florida. I attended Nova Southeastern University for my Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine.

My decision to pursue a career in Family Medicine stemmed from its broad scope, which allows me to provide comprehensive care and assist my patients in achieving the highest possible quality of life. As a passionate patient advocate, I firmly believe in empowering individuals through education and involving them in the decision-making process regarding their healthcare.

Outside of my professional life, I find great joy in spending time with my loving wife and our beloved pet. I am also enthusiastic about cooking, learning to play the piano, and exploring new destinations and cultures through travel. These personal interests not only contribute to my overall well-being but also enhance my ability to connect with patients on a deeper level.

About Dr. Jacob Rovira

Born and raised in New Orleans, I attended LSU for college graduating in 2019-Geaux Tigers- and attended William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine graduating in May of 2024. I moved to Pass Christian shortly after graduation and am settling in quite nicely.

I have had a passion for science and wanted to become a doctor since I was 12 years old. Growing up, I spent much of my free time growing up running through the marshes of southeast Louisiana and the woods of South Mississippi. Outside of healthcare, I enjoy hunting, I am an avid fisherman and gardener, and I love a good DIY project.

I’m very excited to call the Mississippi Gulf coast home now and I’m very proud to be able to serve this community in my capacity as a resident physician and care for patients that remind me so much of my family and friends.

Bio

I was born in India and grew up in northern Virginia. I completed my bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Virginia and graduated from Ross University School of Medicine.

I have a strong commitment to help the underserved populations in my local communities.

I spent the last year volunteering with the Medical Reserve Corps to organize and carry out testing events and vaccinations at a mass vaccination site. I look forward to bringing my community outreach experience to Gulfport.

My hobbies are running and hiking, watching sports, listening to numerous podcasts, playing board games, and spending time with family and friends.
