About Dr. Rahila Ali

I was born and raised in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of northern Pakistan. Some of the globally famous highest peaks and longest glaciers of this region attract a large number of mountaineers, and tourists from all over the world. However, this region of Pakistan remained deprived of modern facilities and quality healthcare for a long. I feel privileged to be born into a family headed by a father who was among the few doctors in the town. Therefore, from my childhood, I was deeply inspired by my father who worked after office hours to help those who could not afford to visit hospitals. I have earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from Fatima Jinnah Medical University.

I am thankful to the Memorial Hospital for providing me with an opportunity to acquire empirical experiences in modern healthcare. During the residency, I aim to improve my clinical knowledge and skills to serve underprivileged society with quality and affordable healthcare. I want to be another inspiring example that others would wish to follow me.

I would be a chef if I was not a doctor. I like to cook different recipes of Pakistani and Indian cuisine. Apart from that I enjoy spending time with my husband and going on long drives to explore nature.

About Dr. Salman Bari

I am from the city of Hyderabad in the heart of India’s Deccan plateau. I studied and graduated from this city laced with history and endowed with a splendid heritage and culture.

After almost a decade of practicing General and Emergency medicine, first in subordinate and then in leadership roles, at Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates, I now arrive at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport on the charming Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Memorial provides a diverse and intricate atmosphere of learning. There is emphasis on a strong attachment to the community. Also, this being a nascent residency program it allows me opportunity to grow apace.

I hope to practice Internal Medicine with empathy and compassion in this environment that fosters wellness, competence and camaraderie.

I love to travel and discover new sights and sounds. I read and write Urdu poetry, and I am a devoted soccer player. Above all, I am a Hyderabadi, so nothing can rival my ardent fancy for biryani, the incomparable delight from the city of culinary delights!

About Dr. Ali Ahmad

I was born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan, and later moved to the United States as a teenager. After spending some time here, I returned to Pakistan to pursue my medical education at Khawaja Muhammad Safdar Medical College in Sialkot. Recently, I moved back to the U.S. with my wife and infant daughter to continue my journey in medicine and build a life rooted in service and growth.

I was drawn to Family Medicine because of its broad scope and the opportunity to care for patients in a personal, continuous way. I find great meaning in forming long-term relationships with patients and supporting not just their physical health, but also their emotional and social well-being. For me, Family Medicine represents the kind of compassionate, community-centered care that inspired me to become a doctor in the first place.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and listening to podcasts—simple pleasures that help me stay grounded and connected.

About Dr. Adam Alamo

I’m from New York State and spent my upbringing in both New York City and Syracuse, a mid-sized city located in upstate NY. Experiencing life in the fast-paced environment of New York City and the quieter pace of Syracuse gave me a well-rounded perspective on the diverse needs of different communities. I earned my undergraduate degree in Biology from Binghamton University and completed my medical education at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Middletown, New York.

I chose family medicine because it offers the unique opportunity to care for individuals across all stages of life. I value the diversity and depth of knowledge the field requires, and I’m drawn to the meaningful relationships family physicians build with their patients and communities. Being a primary care provider means I get to be a consistent and trusted presence in people’s lives—and that’s exactly the kind of doctor I aspire to be.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy traveling and spending quality time with friends and family.
