I have always been inspired by the diversity and vast opportunities within the field of medicine.
My decision to pursue a career in the U.S. healthcare system was strongly influenced by my husband, who is my greatest support.

I grew up eating mangoes in the hot and vibrant city of Multan.
Surrounded by doctors in my family, I was inspired early on to become one myself.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy painting, photography, dancing, trying new cuisines with friends, watching movies, and spending quality time with my family.

Manoj Kumar, MD

Growing up in Jacobabad, Pakistan, where doctors are highly respected, I was inspired to become a healer. My curiosity led me to medicine and chess, while the interest in anime and fantasy sparked a desire to make a real life-superhero.
After earning my MBBS, I pursued Internal Medicine in the U.S., gaining diverse clinical and life experiences. Cooking became a joyful hobby along the way.
I now aim to grow into a compassionate, skilled physician—trusted by patients and contributing meaningfully to the community.

Back in Pakistan, I always considered myself a mountain person, but living near the coast now, I’ve developed a love for the beach – and combined with my passion for photography, it’s the perfect combination.

Vishnu Palyam, MD

Coming from a family of farmers, I learned the values of hard work, resilience, and community. My family instilled in me a strong sense of responsibility, kindness, and thoughtful problem-solving.
Witnessing people struggle to access medical care inspired me to pursue medicine, with the goal of helping others live healthier lives.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, relaxing by the beach, and sharing kindness, love, and happiness with those around me.

I’ve always been fascinated by medicine and value the privilege of supporting patients through every stage of life.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy painting, charcoal sketching and practicing yoga, meditation-mindfulness habits introduced to me by my parents at an early age, who continue to inspire me every day.

Rohan Raj, MD

Growing up amid significant healthcare disparities inspired my journey to becoming a first-generation physician, driven by resilience and purpose.
I thrive in collaborative environments and value empathy, curiosity, and cultural humility in clinical care.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy photography, exploring scenic landscapes, and learning fun historical facts from different cultures.

Sadaf Zahra, MD
Internal Medicine Resident
Growing up, I saw doctors as everyday superheroes — no cape, just a stethoscope around their necks and a calm presence that brought hope.
Watching them (doctors) work together to ease someone’s pain or save a life always left a deep impression on me. That’s what drew me to medicine, the chance to make that kind of a difference in someone’s life.
My life outside of medicine is based around my family, my friends and my kitchen. I love to cook, because good food can make you feel a lot better too.
