About Dr. Minhas

Dr. Hamza Minhas is a Consultant Physician working at Memorial Hospital in the Department of Hematology/Oncology. He went to Medical School at Dow Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan. After moving to the United States, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency, PGY4 Chief Resident/Junior Faculty year and Hematology/Oncology fellowship from Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn NY. 

Dr. Hamza Minhas joined Gulfport Memorial as a Consultant Physician in 2021. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. He has a keen interest in teaching and has co-authored in Hematology/Oncology section of Master The Boards USMLE Step 2/Step3 books alongside Dr. Conrad Fischer. Outside of medicine, Dr. Minhas likes to travel, enjoy new cuisines and race car driving on the track.
