I’m originally from Lahore, Pakistan, and moved to Gulfport last year with my husband.

Seeing the Family Medicine department up close over the past year has strengthened my interest in the specialty, especially its focus on caring for patients across all ages and building long-term relationships with families in the community.

Outside of medicine, I’m a mom who enjoys the ocean, beautiful skies, and spending time with my family. I’m excited to begin this next chapter.

  • Graduation Date – 07/2024
  • Hometown – Lahore, Pakistan

I am from Lahore, Pakistan and a graduate of Ameer-ud-Din Medical College. Surviving Medical School and the U.S. licensing exams on caffeine and last-minute motivation was quite the adventure. But starting residency at Memorial and discovering what coastal living is really like seems more exciting, especially when there isn’t another exam waiting around the corner! Somewhere between cricket matches and countless exams, I found my way to Memorial. I look forward to meeting everyone and starting this new chapter together.

  • Hometown – Columbia, Maryland

I was born and raised near Baltimore, Maryland where I went on to attend the University of Maryland. I completed my medical education at the American University of Integrative sciences, and did my rotations across Virginia, Georgia, Michigan and Florida.

I was drawn to family medicine because we have the opportunity to care for a diverse population of patients across all stages of life, while also being able to gain a wide variety and depth of medical knowledge. We are able to connect with patients and focus on prevention by working with them to manage their health in their daily lives.

I am an avid fan of many different sports, but I especially enjoy playing basketball, golf, and football.

  • Sumy State University Medical Institute
  • Graduation Date – 06/2024
  • Hometown – Enugu, Nigeria

My journey to Family Medicine has taken me from Enugu, Nigeria, to Sumy, Ukraine, and now to residency in the United States. Along the way, I have had the privilege of learning from people of different cultures, languages, and backgrounds – experiences that continue to shape how I connect with and care for patients.

What draws me to Family Medicine is the opportunity to care for people across generations and to understand the stories, relationships, and circumstances that influence their health. I value building trust with patients and helping them navigate their health throughout every stage of life. I am particularly interested in preventive care and community health, and I hope to use my training to expand access to quality healthcare in underserved communities.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy exploring new cuisines, spending time with family and friends, and taking evening walks.

I was especially inspired by watching may grandfather care for generations of patients with compassion across diverse cultural backgrounds. This strengthened my interest in choosing Family Medicine.

Outside of medicine, I love visiting beach, trying new coffee shops, and exploring local food tours along with my husband.
